Product Information

This is a BMW Repair Service for BMW E70 / E71 X5 50iX and X6 50iX with N63 engines equipped with DME MSD85.1 that have the BMW Fault codes listed under "Popular Fault Codes". 

Please Note: There is a risk that the EGS will not shift gears after the repair is complete. If that's the case, you will have to send us your Mechatronics (EGS), CAS Module and Key after that to Remanufacture the Mechatronics and adapt it with the CAS and Key.
This service will cost an additional $699 + shipping. 

Popular Fault Codes

  • 2F49 - Anti tampering protection
  • 2F4C - EWS DME message incorrect
  • A102 - Immobilizer anti tampering protection

The reason this happens is because the CAS Module and DME (Engine control unit) loses its Sync Code between them. Even with an Autologic or ISTA-P you will NOT be able to complete a CAS-DME Alignment. The Only way this will work is that you send us your DME, CAS and Key.

But, not only will they help you, they will be able to diagnose the problem, provide shipping support, and communicate clearly on the process. RPM was able to diagnose and repair our Mini, when the Mini dealership could not. RPM go above and beyond to help you. Highly recommend them.
